The DPA-219 semi-automatic depalletizing system is designed to unload new bottles directly from the pallet onto the processing line. The system includes an unloading conveyor that transfers bottles straight onto the line. The step-by-step operation of the conveyor makes it easy to separate the bottles. With this solution, there is no need for accumulation conveyors. The depalletizing system also features a user-friendly operator panel for adjusting the conveyor settings to accommodate different types of bottles.
The DPA-219 depalletizer is composed of the following components:
- A cam mechanism for grabbing diverse bottles.
- An electric chain (traversing) block
- An unloading conveyor.
The bottle pallet is placed in the designated spot so that the conveyor arm can reach it within its working area. The operator moves the gripping device, previously installed, above the bottle pallet. The gripping bars on the device must be inserted between the rows of bottles. Once the bars are in place, the operator presses a button to release compressed air, which inflates the bars and grips the bottle necks. After the entire layer of bottles is secured, the chain block is activated to move the layer onto the unloading conveyor. Once the bottles are placed on the conveyor, the system immediately starts the step-by-step feeding cycle, and the bottles are transferred onto the processing line.
